ALL GAMES RAINED OUT: No Joy in Mudville

Games at Dooley and in William Land Park were cancelled today. Stay tuned for updates on tomorrow’s games. At Dooley Wednesday, the Majors Astros will square off against the Dodgers on Dooley 1, while on Dooley 2, the AAA A’s will take on the Giants. Fingers crossed for good weather.

Baseball on Tuesday? … Cross your fingers

It almost felt like spring Monday night at the yard — a good crowd and a great couple of games. But the mild weather could be short lived. The forecast is calling for rain tomorrow. We’ll keep you updated. The games on the Tuesday night Dooley docket are the Majors Rays against the Braves on Dooley 1 and the AAA Red Sox against the Yanks on Dooley 2. Come on out for dinner at the Snack Shack.

It was a long day at the yard on Saturday, but we made it! A hearty thank you to all the volunteers, managers, coaches, parents and most of all kids who made 2018 Opening Day memorable.

For those who just can’t get enough baseball (or snack shack), come out to Dooley Monday night to watch the Majors Giants battle the Red Sox on Dooley 1 and the AA Giants face off against the Yankees on Dooley 2. Both games start at 5:30 p.m.

Little League age 8 and up must attend 1 day of tryouts.  Time slots TBA. 

FALL BALL UPDATE

SEPT. 12: Camp program starts.

Runs Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5-6:30 pm at Dooley Field for 6 weeks. Dooley Field is located at the end of San Mateo Way, 95822.  You will not receive a notification email or reminder. Can’t wait to see you out there!

OCT. 1: League games start.

Games will be on Sunday afternoons at Dooley Field, for 4 weeks. You will be contacted by your manager later in September. There is no draft for Fall Ball. Players are placed on teams by division, but not assessed or drafted individually. Players will receive a t-shirt and cap.

FALL BALL REGISTRATION CLOSED

📌Fall Ball registration is now closed, with the highest numbers in recent years.

📌If you submitted payment by check, thank you for your patience. We are processing registrations now.

📌Instructional camp starts 9/10, from 5:00-6:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Dooley Field. You will not receive notification, just show up to start! Please wear baseball pants, a protective cup, cleats, and bring gear you have.

📌Games will be played on Sunday afternoons, starting 9/12. We will roll out Sunday league teams soon, and your manager will contact you as that date is closer.

 

REGISTER FOR FALL BALL BY AUGUST 15

To play fall ball — Player must be age eight or older as of August 30, 2018

The cost is $60 each for the instructional camp and league play, with a $20 discount for players choosing both the camp and fall league ($100 total for both).

Camp starts September 10th with practices on Tu/Th from 5-6:30.  Games start on October 1.

Three items are needed to register:  1)  Completed Fall Ball Registration forms. 2)  A completed medical release form. 3)  Payment for camp, games or both.
