Challenger Day, Sunday April 23rd

Challenger is a division of Little League for children with physical and developmental disabilities. These families play on Sundays at different Little League fields, and this Sunday 4/23 LPP hosts at Dooley. We need adult volunteers in the snack shack and players aged 11 & up, to volunteer on the field as buddies. We also invite you and your kids to fill the stands side by side with Challenger families to cheer on a great game. Games start at 12:30 on Dooley 1 and Dooley 2, last about an hour

Opening Day

Parade will start at 8 am with our T-ballers leading the way, starting at 13th street in Land Park. Majors will round out the parade as we head into Dooley with our Opening Day Ceremony starting at 9 am. Reminder: NO cleats for parade and ceremony. First games of the season will start at 10:30 am.

March 11 is Team Parent Meeting Each team must send one representative (usually the team parent). Critical information distributed, topics include:Picture Day, Pancake Breakfast, Opening Day, Snack Shack shifts. 1 PM at Dooley Field, 2 San Mateo Way, 95822

March 18 is Opening Day Parade begins at 8, followed by Opening Ceremonies and games. Most — but not all — teams will have scheduled games. (game schedules will be out soon) Lots of info to come! Looking for Volunteering Opportunities? Check out The Volunteer Tab at the top!

 

What’s Next?

Players will be drafted by managers and contacted mid-February by their team manager via email or phone, with team info. We are in need of 1 AA Manager, please contact our league president Crystal Romeo: president@lppll.com
Gear Swap: Feb 5th 10am- Noon at Sutterville Elementary School cafeteria. “Drop & Dash” any gear you want to donate prior to Gear Swap at 861 Robertson Way 95818 or 1612 Wentworth 95822.

10 am- 12 AND 11 year olds

11:15 am- 10 year olds

12:15pm- 9 year olds

1:30pm- 8 year olds (and 7 ‘s with player agent approval: request via – pa_lower@lppll.com)

Please come 15 minutes prior to your time slot. If you attended Jan 21st, you do not need to tryout again.
