Today’s Fall Ball Clinic at Dooley Field is canceled due to extreme heat and safety concerns.

More than 75 players have registered for Fall Ball 2015 and we’re looking forward to a great kick-off next week!

If you are doing Clinics + Sunday games: You start Tues., Sept. 8 at Dooley, 5 PM.

If you are doing Clinics only: You start Tues., Sept. 8 at Dooley, 5 pm.

If you are playing Sunday games only: You will hear from your manager very soon to find out what team you are on. We have 4 AAA teams and 2 Majors teams. Games start Sept. 13.

We are no longer accepting applications.

For Game Only Players:  Games will begin on Sunday, September 13.  You should be hearing from you team’s manager this week.

For Clinic + Game Players:  Clinics begin on Tuesday, September 8.

Attention Majors, AAA and AA Players

Are you interested in playing more baseball?  Register now for our fall ball program.  Clinics are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with terrific instruction on fielding and hitting fundamentals.  Games are played on Sundays at Dooley Field from September to mid-October.

LPPLL’s post season has ended for both our Little League and 10/11 teams.  Congratulations to these All Stars for their District Championships and all of their success during 2015.

On Deck:

• Fall Ball registration begins on August 1.
• Registration for our 2016 season begins in December.

Both of LPPLL’s All Star teams play tonight in must-win games:

12s:  LPPLL v. Maidu LL @ Best Babe Park (7599 10th Street) in Rio Linda. 6:00

11s:  LPPLL v. Woodcreek @ Conlin Field (Pocket LL) in Sacramento.  5:30

Join our Little League Team (12s) tonight, Wednesday, July 15, @ Best Babe Park (7599 10th Street in Rio Linda) as they kick off their Section tournament.  LPPLL plays Carmichael LL. Game time is 6:00.

Our 11s plan to battle back!  They made a strong Section debut but suffered a 4-3 loss to Lincoln in the bottom of the 8th after a walk off homer.  Next game:  Thursday, July 16 v. Woodcreek LL @ Conlin Field.

Congratulations to LPPLL’s 10/11 and 11/12 (Little League) teams for their District 7 championships!  You made us proud, and we wish you much luck as you begin your Section tournaments.
