LPPLL is an all-volunteer-run organization. For the past 60 years, our league has grown successfully because of the ongoing commitment of our members and the community. There always are ways to volunteer.
Needs for the 2014 season include:
AA Umpires
Volunteer to umpire three (3) AA games and get a Volunteer Fee Refund.
- Check the AA schedule to decide which games you want to work.
- Notify our Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@lppll.com.
- Remember to provide seven (7) days advance notice and arrive on the field ready at least 15 minutes before game time.
Home Run Derby Coordinator
Set for Sunday, May 4, this event offers players of all ages, managers, coaches and friends a chance to swing for the fences! Contact info@lppll.com for details.
Snack Shack
If you’re too busy during the regular season, volunteer on June 7 or during the All Stars tournament (late June-early July). Just a few shifts earns your money back.
Fall Ball Coordinator
Through our partnership with Christian Brothers High School, LPPLL holds instructional clinics during the week and games on Sundays. Our fall recreational league grows every year. Assistance is needed with registration and logistics.
Special Skills
Our bathrooms at Dooley Field are in need of updates. Can you help with any of these things?
- Saw cut and jackhammer approx. 10 square feet concrete
- Dig and install 2 new floor drains and traps
- Tile approx. 120’ of restaurant grade tile
